Today is Quanteen Day! A day to dive into the world of quantum computers and research on quantum technology arranged by ML4Q. The event takes place online and is open for everyone - even if you are not a teenager. During the day researchers from the Universities of Cologne, Bonn, Aachen and the Forschungszentrum Jülich will give an introduction to quantum physics and explain about their research, and participants will be introduced to the concept of quantum computers.
From the Nonlinear Quantum Optics group Lukas Tenbrake will give an introduction to fiber cavities and optomechanics.
